Founded in 2013, The Tree is the leading learning centre and education consultancy in Beijing. We work with students from ages 5-18 preparing for international education, building confidence and academic progress. We have worked with over one thousand students who have transitioned into international education studying either in an international school in China, a school abroad or a university in the UK/US.

OUR TEAM
The Tree was founded by Zhu Bei (Chinese; former teacher and translator for CCTV) and Julian Fisher (British; former head of department in Harrow International School Beijing). Our team consists of extremely experienced educators, administrators and consultants.

THE TREE PROGRAMMES
Our programmes operate after school, on weekends and during holidays. Our courses cover three main areas: reading & writing, STEM and test preparation. In addition, we run the Flight University Admissions Programme for students studying from the French School.
THE CENTRE
Our 1000SQM purpose-built learning centre features consultancy rooms, a library, testing spaces, a presentation space and a cafeteria. We frequently hold large talks and events for students, staff and parents including a presentation class from Martin Barnes, a workshop on work-life balance from Rebecca Alexander, and multiple plays from our student body.
DAYSTAR BRIDGE
Daystar is a bilingual international school in Beijing. We operate their bridge programme on Saturdays and during holidays, which helps students who wish to attend their school to improve their English and prepare for the entrance examinations.
BEIJING FIELD STUDIES
Beijing Field Studies helps students learn about the environment through fun, interactive programmes with a focus on natural history, science and the natural world. We provide bespoke environmental courses, workshops, after school activities and field trips.
INKBEAT
InkBeat Arts designs and delivers creative arts programming that pushes the limits of students' creativity, publishes the InkBeat Youth Journal, and supports a community of young people based on experimentation and the artistic process.
